Qualcomm Technologies Inc announced an agreement to acquire Edge Impulse Inc at Embedded World Germany. The deal subject to customary closing conditions, marks a strategic move to strengthen the company’s AI and IoT capabilities.

By integrating Sequans' 4G IoT technologies, Qualcomm aims to strengthen its position in the Industrial IoT space, offering customers more robust and reliable cellular connectivity with optimized low-power solutions.

The partnership  will deeply focus on designing services, hardware and software to bolster the adoption of end-to-end IoT solutions for enterprises and industrial purposes.
