AWS IoT SiteWise has introduced a new feature designed to enhance the industrial data management experience - AWS IoT SiteWise Assistant. This AI-powered tool is integrated into AWS IoT SiteWise, a service that streamlines the collection and monitoring of industrial data, allowing businesses to improve productivity through real-time insights and efficient problem-solving. With the launch of the SiteWise Assistant, industrial users can now interact with their operational data through in-built natural language queries. Whether it’s asking about active alarms or seeking troubleshooting advice, users can get immediate insights to optimize their equipment performance.
The SiteWise Assistant makes it easier for companies to access valuable insights from their industrial equipment data collected from sensors, machines and related processes. By using Amazon Kendra, the Assistant connect data and makes it actionable by linking it to a centralized knowledge base. This enables users to quickly identify issues and take action, which can significantly reduce downtime and improve productivity across industrial operations. In addition to delivering valuable insights, the Assistant works seamlessly with AWS’s API and IoT AppKit widgets, equipping developers with the necessary tools to incorporate this functionality into their existing industrial applications.
Furthermore, the AWS IoT SiteWise Assistant offers a no-code experience through the SiteWise Monitor portal, giving users a simple way to visualize key data-driven insights. It is currently available in the US East (N. Virginia), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Europe (Ireland) and US West (Oregon). As AI continues to transform industries, this launch represents a crucial step towards more intelligent, efficient and data-driven industrial operations globally.
